Is the Xbox Series X backwards compatible with Xbox One Games?
Today I’ll be talking a bit about Xbox Series X backwards compatibility and what you can expect it when it arrives later in 2020.
In a recent interview with Gamespot, Phil Spencer the head honcho over at Xbox said that backwards compatibility will be available at launch. He even said he’s been playing games from the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the new Xbox Series X.
I remember when Xbox One was announced back in 2013 and it wasn’t backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games or Xbox games and gamers were so angry. Xbox later corrected that with some software updates but man those were some tough times. But now with the new gen console coming out it’s all about backwards compatibility, it’s kinda funny how things changed. The people have spoken.
In this video I talk about the Xbox Series X backwards compatibility with Xbox One and Xbox 360.
So not only will you be able to play Xbox One games you’ll also be able to play your Xbox 360 games as well.
You’ll also be able to bring your GamerScore, achievements, friends list and your game saves can also be brought over to the new Xbox Series X console.
