What? Wireless SD cards? Yep, it’s a new product called Eye-Fi, here’s how it works, you put one of these cards into your digital camera and the camera automatically uploads the pictures to your computer via wifi.
So it’s not the camera that uploads the photo it’s the wireless card that uploads the photos to the computer. With the Eye-fi you can also upload your pictures to your favorite photo sharing site or social networking sites.
This is a pretty neat idea and I’m looking forward to trying it out. It costs about 100 dollars and is available at some major retailers like Walmart, Costco, and Amazon.
