“What’s this dynamic theme I heard about for the PS3 firmware 3.0?”
Sony just released 3.0 Firmware for the PS3 today and I downloaded and checked out this new “dynamic theme” feature.
The dynamic theme is a new feature that comes with the PS3 3.0 firmware and basically it works like any normal themes except they can now be “dynamic” with moving animated pictures and with things that can change.
Check out the video below and you can see what dynamic theme for the PS3 looks like. There’s currently only one dynamic theme available on the PSN Store and it’s Sackboy running around on LittleBigPlanet and it turns to day and night depending on your time. Pretty cool but its not free the theme costs $2.99.
When I updated to 3.0 firmware I quickly checked the “Themes” on my PS3 just to see if Sony would be kind of enough to give us one free dynamic theme but sadly I was disappointed. C’mon Sony you could of threw in one measly free dynamic theme just so we can see what its all about. Oh well guess I’ll fork over $2.99 just to see this on my TV.
