“How do I update Destiny on my PS4 system?”
Here is a quick guide on installing as well as updating Destiny for the PS4.
PS4 Destiny Update
PS4 – Installing Destiny:
- Have your PS4 ON and ready to go
- Log into your PSN account or create one if you don’t already have one
- Grab your PS4 Destiny disc and pop it into the system
- The PS4 should automatically begin installing Destiny to the system
- Installing Destiny will take a few minutes. The progress bar provides a nice visual to see how long you’ll have to wait before diving into the game
- Once Destiny is finished installing launch the game from the PS4 XMB menu. You may need to update the game before you can proceed.
How to Update PS4 Destiny:
- We need to head back to the Playstation menu to update Destiny. So press the PS button on the controller to get back the the PS4 menu
- Using the controller’s D-pad go to ‘Notifications’
- Select ‘Downloads’
- Find the ‘Destiny Update File’ and hit the X button
- Hit X again to ‘Update Now’
- Destiny will now begin updating automatically
- Now just sit back and enjoy Destiny
