Should I buy the iPod touch

“Is the iPod touch worth buying?”

What make the iPod touch so great? The iPod touch can do just about anything the iPhone can do, the iPod touch cannot make phone calls obviously but that could be a good thing as well because there’s no contract to sign and no monthly fee.

I must point out that to really use the iPod touch to its full potential you should have access to a WiFi network.

So what can the iPod touch do?

Play music and videos – lets get the obvious things out first.

Play games – the iPod touch is a fantastic portable gaming device that can compete with the Nintendo DS or the Playstation PSP. There are thousands of games to be downloaded from the iTunes store and many of the games are free, or very cheap usually a dollar or two.

Applications – As there are thousands of games for the touch there are also thousands of apps as well. There are many useful apps for text messaging, taking notes, listening to radio, restaurant guides, reading PDF, RSS feed catcher, maps, Twitter and so much more.

Internet – the iPod touch comes with Safari web browser for getting online and viewing web pages.

Email -the touch comes with an email program to view and send emails.

Some other neat apps that come pre-installed on the touch includes weather, calendar, clock, calculator, clock, take notes and Youtube app.

If any of these sound interesting to you than I would not hesitate recommending the iPod touch, if you’re just looking for a simple MP3 and video player there are cheaper options out there.
