I’m thinking of buying a new computer and I can’t decide if I should buy a Mac or PC. Here’s where I’m stuck, Macs are good but not for playing games and Windows can play all the games but lots of problems. I want a computer with decent graphics too.
Nowadays there are very little disadvantages with the Mac mainly because now you can run both OS X (Mac’s operating system) and Windows XP or Vista, so you get the best of both worlds. You will find that a lot of applications for Windows will also be available for the Mac and it isn’t available on the Mac then you could always use the Windows version because now you can run Windows on a Mac.
If your a hardcore gamer than sticking with Windows would probably be the best choice. Mac’s aren’t really meant for gaming and most games only run on Windows although there are more and more game developers jumping on the Mac bandwagon. Check to see if the game or games you want to play are available on the Mac.
Security is another issue and Windows is the biggest target for hackers and spyware. viruses. and malicious programs because Windows has the biggest install base. So if security is a big deal to you then getting a Mac would be a good choice.
The only downside to a Mac is the price. Mac’s tend to cost more than your average Windows PC but you’ll find the build quality is much better on a Mac and in the long run much more reliable. In my personal opinion Mac’s should be for home users and Windows should be for businesses.
i say go the pc coz when you need to upgrade 1 thing and all your stuff is on there it can be changed easily but on a mac you need to get a new 1
