My mom wants to buy me a Apple computer for my birthday so I decided the MacBook would be a good choice. I like to play a little bit of games though, nothing to hardcore just the Sims and stuff like that. Is the MacBook worth the price?
If you are a casual gamer which sounds like you are than the current Macbook hardware should do just fine in terms of playing casual games like “the SIms”. You could always install Windows on top of the Mac operating system to play your favorite Windows games also. If all you want to do is play games than a Mac may not be the right choice for you. A PC would be a better gaming platform.
The good thing about a Mac is all the hardware is designed by Apple so everything works the way it should. Software is another reason to own a Mac as well. The Mac comes with excellent software like iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand and many others. They also have great third party software as well. And because now you can run Windows on a Mac you can run any software you want.
