“I’m new to Photoshop and I’m still learning the ropes. How do I resize an image in Photoshop?”
1. Open the image you want to resize in Photoshop.
2. Head over to the menu bar and click on ‘Image’ and select ‘Image Size’ from the drop down menu. Or use the shortcut key combination ‘ALT + CTRL + I’.
3. In the Image Size window you can choose how you want to resize the image. I personally like to use ‘Percent’ for image resizing because it keeps the proportions just right. You can also the image file size before and after at the very top. In my case the image file size was 691.6K and with the image size change it is now 339.0K which is less than half the size of the original file size.
