Changing icon size in Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Option 1:
This is the quickest way to make your desktop icons bigger or smaller – press and hold the ‘CTRL’ key on your keyboard and use the mouse scroll wheel to resize your icons.
Option 2:
Right-click an empty area on the desktop and scroll on to of ‘View’. Select Large, Medium and Small icons from the list of options.
