Reset Kodi using Ares Wizard
In this video tutorial I’ll be going through the steps on how to rest Kodi back to default using Ares Wizard. This process will erase all your Kodi addons and settings.
Video Instructions for Resetting Kodi to Default with Ares Wizard:
1. Starting from the Kodi home page go to ‘Settings -> File Manager -> Add source’.
2. Enter this url exactly – http://ares-repo.eu and hit OK.
3. Give it a name, I’ll call it ‘ares’ and press OK to proceed.
4. Go back to the Kodi home page and select ‘Add source’.
5. Click on the package installer icon located in the upper left hand corner.
6. Go to ‘Install from zip file’ (toggle off security if you haven’t already).
7. Find the ‘ares’ repo we added earlier.
8. Click on ‘repository.aresproject.x.x.x.zip’ wait for it to download and install.
9. Now click on ‘Install from repository -> Ares Project -> Program add-ons -> Ares Wizard -> Install’.
10. Once you have Ares Wizard downloaded click on it to launch it. While on the Ares Wizard welcome page go ‘More -> Erase all Data/Fresh Start’.
