“You know that activity feed you see on the PS4 showing everything you’ve been doing? I don’t want people seeing this. How do I stop showing my PS4 activities to people on my friends list?”
1. From the main PS4 menu, head up to the ‘Profile’ icon and hit the X button from your controller.
2. Click on ‘Privacy Settings’ located just underneath your profile icon.
3. You’ll be asked to log into your Playstation Network account before making any changes. So go ahead and do that, I’ll wait right here.
4. After successfully logging into your Playstation Network account, select ‘Sharing Your Experience’ from the Privacy Settings page.
5. From the ‘Sharing Your Experience’ page, select ‘Activities’.
6. Click on ‘Choose who can see your Activities’. You have four choices here – Anyone, Friends of Friends, Friends Only, and No One. Choose ‘No One’ if you want to stop anyone from seeing things you do on the PS4.
7. If you do allow people to see your PS4 activities you can select to allow comments, and show videos you’ve watched and trophies you’ve earned.
8. Select the ‘Confirm’ button to save your settings. That is all folks. Your PS4 activities should now be hidden from your friends list.
