Watching Movies on the PS4 via USB:
1. Plug your USB stick into your computer and transfer your movie files onto the USB thumb drive. Note: Playstation recommends putting your video into a folder so the PS4 can properly read it. Movies usually already come inside a folder so just transfer that folder onto the USB.
2. After the transfer is complete from the computer. Plug the USB stick into one of the USB ports in front of the PS4.
3. From the PS4 main menu, scroll over to ‘Media Player’ icon and press the ‘X’ button.

4. Inside the Media Player window, scroll down to your USB. The name of your USB is different depending on the brand of USB drive. Press ‘X’ button to view movies inside the USB.

5. You should now see the movie(s) folder you’ve transferred from your computer. You’ll need to hover over the video folder and press ‘X’ once again to view the actual video file.

6. Now just click on the video file to begin watching your movie on the PS4.
