PS4 – Delete Youtube History

“How do I delete my Youtube history on the PS4?”

While watching a Youtube video press down on the D-pad to pull up other options, here you can view Related Videos, Uploads for channel, and your Current Watch History. Sometimes you don’t want others to view your Youtube history or your searches from the search field. There are 2 things you’ll need to do to delete your Youtube histroy on the PS4 – search entry and watch history.

Clear Search History – This will clear your search terms that you’ve entered into the search field.

1. From the PS4 Youtube app, go up to the Search Bar and hit the X button. Underneath the search field you can see all your previous search. Using the D-pad scroll down to those search terms and move to the left to highlight ‘CLEAR HISTORY’. Hit X again to erase those search terms.

Clear Youtube Watch History – This will erase videos you’ve watched from the history section.

1. While inside the PS4 Youtube app, press the square button to open the guide. Alternatively press left on the D-pad to enter guide.

2. While inside the Youtube Guide, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the menu to ‘Settings’ and hit the X button.

3. From Settings, go to ‘Clear Watch History’ by scrolling to the right hand side then hit X on the controller.

4. A window will appear, this will clear your Youtube history on all devices. Select ‘OK’ to proceed.
