Your Xbox One power supply might be improperly connected or just not working. Here are a few things to try:
Does the Xbox One have power? Check to see if you have proper power to the Xbox One.
1. Unplug everything. Unplug the power cord from the back of the Xbox One, unplug from electrical outlet and unplug the cord from the power supply.
Now plug everything back in firmly. Turn on the Xbox One. Is the light on the power supply on?

The light on the power supply is a good indicator if it’s working properly.
Your power supply is working if it’s lit solid white or solid orange.
If your power supply is not showing any light it may need to replaced. Before you replace it, try these solutions first:
1. Plug the Xbox One in a different electrical outlet.
2. Don’t use a surge protector.
3. Let the power supply cool off a bit by unplugging the power supply and wait 30 minutes before plugging it back in.
The power supply may need to be replaced if it’s still unlit. If your Xbox One is still under warranty you can it replaced from the Xbox Online Service Center.

This information was completely useless, If the power supply turns on, but the xbox console wont….how is that a blank tv troubleshooting problem??? We arent talking about the hdmi cable being properly plugged in, the problem is the xbox wont turn on!!! Not the tv! This article needs to be taken down and replaced with one written by someone who is more intelligent or more qualified with these issues.
