How do I share files between my 2 Mac computers?
Mac to Mac file transfer guide:
1. Go to the Mac you want to move files from, click on the Apple logo from the menu bar, go to System Preference, under Internet and Wireless click on “Sharing”.
2. Make sure “File Sharing” is turned on.
3. We can now add a specific folder to share. Press the “+” icon below the Share Folder section.
4. Select the folder or sub-folder and click “Add”.
5. Now head over to the Mac you want to transfer the files to. Click on the “Finder” icon.
6. From the menu and under “SHARED” you should see your other Mac computer. Click on it to view the folders that are being shared from that computer.
We can now simply open the folder and “drag & drop” any files onto our desktop to transfer files between the two Mac computers.
