“I watch a lot of Youtube videos from my iPad and iPhone. I’m starting to get annoyed with all the ads that play before and during each video. How do I block ads on Youtube?
You can’t directly block ads using the YouTube app on iOS. But I do have a solution for you.
How to Block Youtube Ads:
1. From your iPad or iPhone – download Adblock Browser from the App Store.
2. Launch the Adblock Browser app after it finishes downloading.
3. The default search engine the app uses is ‘DuckDuckGo’. I personally prefer using Google as my search engine so I change it in the Settings before doing anything. With the app open tap the Adblock Browser icon, than tap ‘Settings’.

4. From the Settings page, tap ‘Search Engine’. You have three choices, DuckDuckGo, Google and Baidu. Tap ‘Google’ and head back to the previous page by tapping on ‘AdblockBrowser’ and than tap ‘Done’.
5. Go to Youtube, do this by typing it directly into the address bar or search for it from Google.
6. If you have a Youtube account, sign in to watch your subscribed videos. Ads should now be blocked from all videos and ads from the page itself.
I’ve been using this app specifically just for watching Youtube videos and it does a great job at blocking ads.
