“How do I watch movies downloaded from my computer on the PS4?”
Currently it doesn’t look like the PS4 supports streaming movies from your computer or via USB. The latest PS4 software 1.51 doesn’t give you any kind of options for streaming personal movies on your computer or using a USB. But this could change with new firmware updates. I’ll keep this updated as needed.
My favorite way to watch movies on the PS3 was using a USB. I’d just transfer movies from the computer onto the USB, put the USB into a slot in the PS3.

Plug a HD cable into your laptop and play them that way.
Well actually it’s not through the ps4 is it just the hd to the telly! Oops. But that does work!
