“How do I uninstall Windows Live Messenger on my Window 7 machine, I can’t find it on my list of programs.”
Looks like Microsoft hid the program pretty good so people can’t uninstall it so easily and hopefully give up on the idea of removing Messenger on their PC’s. Shame on you Microsoft.
1. Head over to the Control Panel by clicking the “Windows Orb” aka the Start button.
2. Go to Programs and click on Uninstall a program.
3. We need to find “Windows Live Essentials” from the list of programs and double click it.
4. From the new Window click on the “Uninstall” button and click “Continue”.
5. Choose the “Messenger” and click “Continue”.
6. Click the “Close” button from the Confirmation page to complete the process. Live Messenger should now be removed.
