“How do I make it so that iTunes doesn’t automatically start when I turn on my computer?”
Windows has options where you can select which programs you want on start up.
This will work on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. (steps may vary slightly)
1. Press the Start button icon.
2. Type “MSCONFIG” in the search box and press ENTER. Windows XP users go Start > Run > type in “msconfig”.
3. This will open up the ‘System Configuration’ window.
4. Find the ‘Startup’ tab. You will see a list of programs, this is where you can uncheck any that you don’t want to start up. In your case its iTunes. Find iTunes and uncheck it and hit “OK”. Restart the machine for it to take effect.
