“How do I restore my Kindle Fire back to the default factory settings?”
Can’t remember your Kindle Fire passoword? Or maybe you’re planning on selling the device. Those are two great reasons why you should restore your Kindle Fire back to the default factory settings.
Note: This will delete everything on the Kindle Fire so you’ll need to register the device again and re-download all your personal content.
How to restore Kindle Fire:
1. From the Home Screen, tap the ‘Quick Settings’ icon.
2. Select Device.
3. Select ‘Reset to Factory Defaults’.

I keep getting a popup every few minutes saying, please check your internet settings, java.Lang nullpointerexception. I have tried rebooting my router, pressing power button for 30 seconds and restarting. Even got a virus protector app but nothing seems to work. Should I reset to factory settings and register? I wanted to try out the Kindle parental controls that has been advertised on TV. I set it up. Now I need access to my email and web browser, which is not accessible in this setting. However, I am unable to access the home page.

cant get e-mails as it says insufficient storage please free internal storage to sync new e-mails but theres nothing obvious on it other than facebook and messenger,i purchased an sd card but apparently e-mails can only go to internal memory and moving facebook and messenger to the card didnt fix the problem.Its now become more of a problem now that facebook and messenger are separating and messages will be viewable only on the messenger app and as i dont have any internal storage i cant download this app.will reverting to factory settings cure this problem or is there any other way to fix it?
