How to get Comic Books onto your iPhone or iPod touch. I will show you how to use an app called ComicZeal to download and read your digital comics on your iPhone or iPod touch. (For this guide to work your iPhone or iPod touch needs to be connected to the same network as your computer.)

Download ComicZeal from iTunes – it costs $2.99 but I think it’s the best comic book reader for the iPhone or the iPod touch and worth the price.
Download ComicZeal Sync – Ok now you got the ComicZeal on your Ipod touch or iPhone we can move on to the next step. Most comic books in digital format come in a .cbr file. So now we need to convert these digital comic files using the ComicZeal Sync, this program will sit on your desktop and will convert your .cbr comics into a much more manageable format and sync it up to your iPhone/touch.
So lets start converting a .cbr comic I happen to have a copy of “Death’s Dark Knight 01”, and I will use ComicZeal Sync to convert it then download it onto my iPod touch.
Open ComicZeal Sync and Find the comic file and drag it into “Drop files here”
Now ComicZeal will works it’s magic and shrink it down for the iPhone or iPod touch. This takes a few minutes. You can also rename the comic too if you wish.
When it’s done it should say “Finished” on the screen area. Now press the “Sync Now” button at the bottom.
Now a dialog box will appear called the “SyncDocs” you don’t have to press anything here. You should see the comic book that you just converted.
Go to your iPhone or iPod touch and launch the ComicZeal app that you purchased from iTunes. Click on the “Add” button and that should take you to the “Add Comics” page this is where you can download free comics from FlashBack Universe or Golden Age Comics. But we want our comic that we just converted so press the “Sync” button, and then click on “SyncDocs” now ComicZeal will begin to download the converted comic file onto your iPhone or iPod touch. When it is done syncing it will say “Sync Successful” press the “OK” button.
