Here’s a quick guide on how to upload your comic book collection from your computer onto the iPad.
First thing you’ll need is a comic book reader application on the iPad, my personal favorite is “ComicBookLover for iPad”, its free so go ahead and download it.
Once the app is installed we can then start downloading comics from the computer to the iPad. The app allows you to upload your comics several different ways such as iTunes, WiFi or FTP. I’ll show you how to do it with iTunes.
1. Connect the iPad to the computer where you normally sync with iTunes.
2. In iTunes, on the left hand side and under “Devices” click on your iPad.
3. Select the “Apps” tab.
4. Scroll all the way down to the “File Sharing” section. In the “Apps” section click on “ComicBook”.
5. With the “ComicBook” icon highlighted we can now upload the comics onto the iPad. Click on the “Add” button at the bottom. Locate the comic files on your computer and click “Choose” when done.
6. The comic file(s) should automatically sync with the iPad. You can now unplug the iPad from the computer.
7. Almost done, launch the ComicBooksLover app on the iPad. From the home page, select “Transfer” then tap “iTunes File Sharing” now tap “Add to Library” located at the bottom of the page. Now after a few seconds your comic book should be transferred and can be found inside the “Library” section of the app.
Enjoy reading your comics on the iPad.

Hi,
it’s work well,
I sync with iTunes from an external HD, the file goes to my iPad, OK, but I can’t find the original comic file anywhere on the Mac. Is it still on the external HD or is it copied on the Mac?
Thanks
