If you’re like me and like listening to music or podcasts while in bed then it might be a good idea to start using the iPod touch’s sleep feature to save some battery life.
Here’s how to set the timer:
- At the Home Screen tap the “Clock”
- Tap the “Timer” icon at the bottom
- Set the hour(s), and minutes
- Tap “When Timer Ends” and scroll to the top and select “Sleep iPod”
- Tap “Set” in the top right corner
- Now click “Start” to begin the countdown
When the countdown ends the iPod touch will stop playing video, music, podcast, or any kind of application you may have open and lock itself.
