“My Kindle Fire sometimes freezes on me. What can I do the to stop the frozen screen from happening”
Doing a “hard reset” may resolve issues like downloading content, battery issues and frozen screen.
How to reset the Kindle Fire:
- Press and hold the power button for around 20 seconds and release.
- When it’s completely off, turn the device back on by pressing the power button.
It may also help if you completely charge the device before doing the hard reset.
Keeping your Kindle Fire up-to-date with the latest software will also help keep your Kindle Fire running smoothly. Get the lastest updates from Amazon.
