“I recently bought a PS4 and I want to watch Youtube videos. I don’t see it anywhere? How do I get Youtube on the PS4?”
Playstation released their Youtube app with one of their previous software updates. I’ll go through the steps for finding it so you can begin watching Youtube on the PS4.
How to watch Youtube on PS4:
1. Turn on the PS4, from the Playstation 4 menu and head over to the Playstation Store. The store icon is located at the top-left hand side. Tap the X button to enter the Playstation Store.
2. Now we need to download the Youtube app to our PS4. We have two option – Option 1 – Use the ‘Search’ function and begin typing ‘Youtube’ to find the app. Option 2: Scroll down to ‘Apps -> All Apps -> Browse for the Youtube App. They both do the same thing, the choice is yours.

3. Tap on the Youtube icon and that will bring you over to the download page. Highlight the ‘Download’ icon and hit the X button to begin installing Youtube on the PS4. Youtube should launch after downloading and installing is complete.

4. To sign into your Youtube account press the ‘square’ button on the controller to launch the guide. The guide bar should launch on the left hand side of the screen and from here you can sign-in, search for videos, view popular videos, adjust settings and more.
To exit out of Youtube press the Home button on the PS4 controller. The Youtube app can be found from the main menu under TV & Video.
