“Where do I download the Mac App Store?”
The new Mac App Store was released today and its super simple to get the new app store on your Mac OS X computer.
Simply update your Mac to Version 10.6.6 and you’re good to go.
How to update:
1. Go to the top left hand corner and click on the Apple logo.
2. From the drop-down menu click on “Software Update”.
3. The Mac will then begin checking for new software updates. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
4. Once you have the latest update you can launch the App Store from your Mac computer. Access the App Store from the new icon on your Dock or from the Apple logo Menu.
Read your blog, downloaded new OS and happily downloaded a few aps (LOVE the crackling fire!). I’d rather not have them sitting on my taskbar–where can I put them that I can access them without having to remember their names? Jood
By default apps are also stored in your Applications folder.
