“How do I delete Google on my computer. I DO NOT WANT GOOGLE ON MY COMPUTER!”
I’m assuming you mean Google Desktop which comes with “gadgets” and “search” features which are all accessible on your desktop. I downloaded the latest version of Google Desktop just so I can uninstall it for you.
Here’s how Google explains it:
1. Hit the Start button in your Windows taskbar.
2. Then click Programs > Google Desktop > Uninstall Google Desktop.
3. Choose the ‘Remove completely for all users’ option.
4. Hit the Yes button to proceed.
5. If want to delete your personal search index as well, deselect the ‘Keep index and gadgets’ checkbox.
6. Hit the Uninstall button to finish the process.
I installed it on a Widows 7 machine so I did it slightly different.
1. Start > Control Panel
2. Under Programs click on “Uninstall a program”
3. Find Google Desktop and click on it.
4. Google Desktop uninstaller pops up, select “Remove completely for all users” and click “Yes”.
5. Un-check the box if you don’t want to save anything.
6. Click the “Uninstall” button to finish the job.
