How to delete audiobooks on the iPad:
1. Connect the iPad to the computer you normally sync with iTunes.
2. With iTunes open, click on your iPad from the menu.
3. Select ‘Books’ from menu.
4. Scroll down to ‘Sync Audio Books’ and make sure it’s checked. Click on ‘Selected Audiobooks’.
5. Manually uncheck audiobooks you do not want synced up to the iPad. This will delete the audiobook from your iPad. The audiobook will still remain in your library on your computer.
6. Click ‘Apply’, this will remove audiobooks from the iPad.
This is not working for me. When i select Sync on my computer, the ipad transfers data to my computer. How do i force the Sync to be pushed from my computer? So many hours wasted on my ipad since the new update.
Non of my audiobooks were checked. So I checked the one I wanted deleted from my iPad and followed the directions from there. They were removed. Version 8 uses up so much space that most of my albums and audiobooks just show titles no pictures.
