I get pretty sick of my desktop background after a few days almost to the point where I never want to see that image anymore. With Windows 7 you can have the background images rotate every 10 seconds if that’s what you desire.
Here’s how to create a wallpaper background slide show in Windows 7:
Gather up all the images you want to be part of this desktop slide show and put them in a folder somewhere, or use existing pictures folders you already have.
Click on the Windows 7 Orb button (Start button) then type in “change desktop background” in the search box. You should now see that option from the search results, click on it.
That should bring up the Desktop Wallpaper window. You can click on the drop down menu and choose from different options or hit the “Browse” button to find a specific picture folder.
Now your folder is open with all of your images inside, by default all the pictures inside the folder is checked but you can manually un-check any photos you do not want to include in the slide show. Hold the “Ctrl” key down and click on pictures you don’t want in the slide show. There’s also a “Select all” and “Clear all” button on the top.
Picture position – there are a few different options to modify how your pictures will look such as Tile, Center, Stretch and so on.
Change picture every – select when the pictures will rotate. You can choose anywhere between 10 seconds to 12 hours or even 1 day.
Shuffle – check this if don’t want your pictures to be displayed in any order.
Don’t forget to hit “Save changes” to finish your background slide show.
