How do I change my Windows 10 sign in account name?

From the Windows 10 desktop go to the search function located at the task bar.

1. Begin typing Control Panel into the search function.
2. Click on the Control Panel to open the app.
3. Select ‘User Accounts’.
4. Click on ‘User Accounts’ once more.
5. Select ‘Change your account name’.
6. Type in your new user account name into the box.
7. Click ‘Change Name’ to finish changing your Windows 10 login name.
