1. Using the official Facebook app for the iPad, log into it.
2. Tap on the little icon with the horizontal lines. Let’s call it the ‘Menu’ button.
3. A menu column should appear on the left-hand side of the screen. Scroll down and tap on ”Photos’.
4. Browse for the picture you want to use for your new Facebook profile. Tap on the image to bring it up on the iPad screen.
5. Tap and hold anywhere on the screen until you see a dialog box appear. Tap on ‘Make a Profile Picture’.
6. This is where you can crop the image to get rid of any unwanted background. Simply drag any of the four corners until you like what you see.
7. When you are finished cropping the image, tap on the small check mark icon located in the bottom right-hand corner.
8. Give the Facebook app a few seconds to set your new profile picture. That’s pretty much it. Enjoy!
