Here’s how to change desktop background picture in Vista.
- Right click anywhere on the desktop
- Scroll down and left click on “Personalize”
- Click on “Desktop Background”
- You can select from a number of Vista Wallpapers or you own images by selecting the appropriate folder
- You can also choose how you would like the image positioned, Fit to Screen, Tile, or Centered
- Click “OK” to change Vista background
Here’s how to change desktop background picture in XP.
- Right click anywhere once on the desktop
- Scroll down to “Properties” and left click on it
- The Display Properties will appear, select the “Desktop” tab at the top of the dialog box
- There is a list of available wallpaper, you can use your own images by clicking on the “Browse” button
- You will see a preview of the image in the computer monitor in the Dialog Box, press “OK” to change Windows wallpaper
