There are several different ways to buy books for the iPad.
Apple offers iBooks, the app allows you to buy and download books to the iPad. You’ll need a Apple ID if you don’t already have one. Go to ‘Settings’, tap ‘Store’ and sign in using your existing Apple ID or create one.
How to buy books for the iPad using iBooks:
- Tap the ‘iBooks’ icon.
- Tap ‘Store’ to open the iBookstore.
- Now that you’re in the store, browse best sellers, featured books, and search for books by topic or author.
- When you find a book you like you can purchase it with a few taps. Books you’ve downloaded can be found on your bookshelf inside the iBooks application
The Amazon Kindle app is a great option if you prefer to buy your digital books through Amazon.com.
