How to add more storage space to the Wii U

“My Wii U internal storage space is running low. I’m running out of space very quickly. How do I add more hard drive space on the Wii U?”

You can use an external USB hard drive to expand your Wii U storage space.

Currently there are two hard drives that has been tested to work with the Wii U.

BUFFALO DriveStation Axis – You can find these drives in a variety of sizes. (1 TB, 2 TB, 3 TB, 4 TB)

Toshiba 1TB Canvio – You can find these in three size capacities, 1 TB, 2 TB and 3 TB.
