“Heard about the new Nintendo 3DS coming out, how much will it cost when it comes out?”
There is no official price for the Nintendo 3DS but expect it to be close to their current DS systems.
The DS Lite sells for around $130, DSi goes for about $170 and the DSi XL sells for about $190. So now that we have a good picture of the price range for Nintendo’s hand held devices its probably safe to say the new 3DS could sell for around $200 in North America.
Expect a bit of price drop for previous generation DS devices before 3DS launches.
UPDATE: Price for the Nintendo 3DS is $249.99 and currently comes in two colors, Aqua Blue and Cosmic Black.

its wud prolly cost alot more than the dsi or ds , considering its 3d, and has more things added to it. it will prolly be pricey bcuz u can also record videos on it… so id say $250 or maybe a little higher or lower… im not quite sure yet tho…..
$200 does sound pretty reasonable. Im gonnasave up for it. By the time I have enough $ it’ll be lots cheeper. So there’s an upside and a down side.
Upside: Will be cheeper when I get to buy it (expesially at GameStop or wherever you buy used systems.)
Downside: I gotta wait a while.
Can you play regular DS/DS Lite/DSi/DSi XL games on it, too?
Cuz you can on DSi and DSi XL. I hope cuz otherwise I gotta sell like 30 DS Lite/ DS games. Some I don’t wanna get rid of.
Can you play GameBoy games on it, too?
If not then PASS! Cuz I got like 30 DS/DS Lite games and like 15 -20 GameBoy games. Ya that’s a reason I’m called TechieGal.
i say 200 is a good price because it has more features but im sure the price will lower ps:it does not hold gameboy games

I think that it will be around a 350$ investment basically you have to buy the 250$ system plus new games cuz gamestop told me they wouldn’t play the regular ds games and accesories plus tax so it’s a big investment also if you have the systems b4 this 1 they will probably raise the trade in value about 10. Bucks for the systems. Btw I got this supposed info from a page on the gameinformer magazine
Ijust bought the dsi xl! its HUGE and everything but i heard about the 3ds.im gonna wait like 2 mounths after it comes out b/c itll probably have more colors,or nintendo will probably make a new system.Because the day the dsi xl came out,they announced the 3ds.so when the 3ds comes out,theyll probably announce a new system like a 3ds lite,3dsi or even a 3dsixl! thats why im going 2 wait after the day it comes out.
and id say the 3ds should cost $200 cause it has youtube faster internet,and its 3d and everything.

the best price for it should be 215 and does 3ds take ds games
200 is pretty reasonable bcause thats about how mutch the ds lites and dsi dsixl were when they 1st came out
i figured it out. i saw how much it was in japanese yen and i compared it to the us currency and it was about $300. looks like its more than wat we expected

i got a dsi Xl it cost me £170 i think the 3ds is overated it will cost around £250 quite expensive for something thats not that much better. Also it looks strange with diffrent sized screens. YEP I DID YOUR MUM
I already have $100 so I wonder if my mom still has her $100 so when the 3DS comes out I could go there and buy it!
i think the 3DS might be around the $250~300 range,it will be compatible with ds and dsi games,will not be able to play gba games same as dsi you will be able to dowload(pay) some of the gba games to your 3DS like the dsi but not all games will make the cut

Just wait for it to go down in price. One year from now it will be AT LEASt 100-150$ cheaper, all electronics work that way.
i really want a 3ds so bad but it cost alot and i have dsi so please somebody tell me if you can play ds/ds lite/dsi or dsixl games on the 3ds! if not i am gonna be sooo peed off cause i have like 45 games
Wow Wow Wubzy! I think that the 3DS wil probably cost from around $200-$270 because it is a larger system and it is in 3D. I can not wait to get one! I am soooooo excited!
ahh want the 3ds so bad but i am saving up for 3 electronics now so 800 dollars for a thousand$ so ummm cant wait till i get the 3ds keeping my fingers crossed =)

It’s $250 at the store but you might be able to find it cheaper online. Some stores also have DS/DSi trade-in deals so you can save yourself a hundred or so. there aren’t too many games yet (pilotwings is the most popular) but i think they cost about $40. Of course you have the apps and stuff like camera, mii creator, internet, pedometer, augmented reality, music, and there’s supposed to be Netflix and a game store coming later. And of course there’s 3-D! You can play regular DS games (and of course DSi. They’re the same!) on it, only it won’t be in 3-D. All in all, it’s about a $300 deal if you get the system in stores as well as a game and a car charger or cleaning kit or something. It seems like a lot but it looks like an awesome system, so I’m doing a trade-in to get it! Hope I helped. 🙂
