“Ok so my question is how do you browse or get Internet on your 80GB PS3?”
There are many ways and different configurations to get the Internet on the PS3 so I’ll just go through the basics then point you to a really well made and detailed video from Sony Playstation on this topic.
To get the “Internet” and browse the World Wide Web on the PS3 there’s a few things you will need.
1. ISP- short for Internet Service Provider. You get this from your cable or phone company and they’ll give you a “modem” to connect online. I’ll assume you already have this because how else would you be reading this. 🙂
2. Wired or Wireless Router – a router connects to the modem from your ISP and the PS3 connects to the router, this is how you feed the PS3 with the power of the web. If you go with the “wired” router you will need 2 Ethernet cables.
3. Configure the PS3 to see the Internet connection.
