“My new Honda Fit has a USB port in the glove box! I’m not sure what to use it for except audio files. If I copy an audio book to a USB stick and play it on the radio, will it play the chapters in order or will it scramble them? (you know, read chapter 1 then to to chapter 11 thinking it precedes chapter 2 numerically). This is all so new to me! Thanks!”
That’s a really cool feature, me jealous!
Most Mp3 players like the iPod can handle audio books pretty good and you shouldn’t have a problem there and playing them off a USB stick shouldn’t be a problem either just as long as its numbered properly. I’m not sure exactly how the Honda Fit player works but I would assume once you plug in the USB stick into the Honda Fit USB attachment you should see all the chapter audio files where you can then select the chapter to listen to.
That USB port could probably also be used to charge devices that uses USB like the Blackberry, iPhone, iPod(s).
Maybe someone has more insight on this or if you would be so kind and come back and leave a comment and tell us how things went I’m kinda interested myself.

Wow! I learned a bunch just watching the video you provided–thank you–the manual doesn’t describe things so well. I’m lovin’ my little black Sport model but agree blue tooth at the least should be optional! jood
