“How do I get free Microsoft virus protection?”
There are lots of paid virus protection out there but the truth is you don’t really need it. Microsoft has done something they should of done a long time ago, they released a free security suite called Microsoft Security Essentials which comes with an antivirus, antispyware, and protection against other malware. And guess what, its works pretty darn good. The people over at AV-Test.org tested the software and it detected 98% of viruses in there huge database. It may not be the best antivirus out there but its good enough because its free. If you want something free and easy to use check out Microsoft’s Security Essentials.
Some other tips to keep viruses off your computer:
- Keep Window updated
- Update applications
- Don’t download pirated software
