“I’ve uploaded many pictures to Flickr long time ago but I’m thinking of moving my pictures to Google Photos. Is there a way to quickly download all my images at once?”
How to Download All Flickr Photos:
1. Log into your Flickr account.
2. Go to ‘You’ and select ‘Camera Roll’ from the drop down menu.
3. I like to change my grid view on this page to fit more images on my screen and it makes scrolling through images a bit faster.
4. Your Flickr photos should be categorized by ‘Date taken’ but you can change it to ‘Magic View’ as well. Magic View is pretty cool, it recognizes what’s in your picture and puts it into a specific category. If there’s a picture of your pet dog in your photo Flickr will put that photo into the ‘Dog’ section. I’m shocked at how well it works.
5. Okay so back to downloading our images from Flickr. Whether you’re on ‘Date’ or ‘Magic View’ scroll through each section of your photos and click on ‘Select All’.
6. Once you’re done selecting all your images and videos click on ‘Download’ near the bottom of the page.
7. You can now download your Flickr pictures and videos. Your images will come in ‘.zip’ format for easy downloading. Simply unzip the folder from your desktop using your favourite zip extractor (7-Zip is free for Windows and the Mac comes with Archive Utility). You many need to download several parts if you have a huge Flickr collection.
