“How do I know when someone is logging into my Facebook account?”
Facebook has an option where they will send you an email or text message if someone from another computer or mobile device logs into your account.
1. Log into your Facebook account.
2. Click on the arrow next to the Home link.
3. Click ‘Account Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
4. Select ‘Security’ from the left side menu.
5. Look for ‘Login Notifications’ and click ‘Edit’.
6. Select how Facebook will contact you if someone logs into your account. You have two choices, Email or Text message/Push Notification. You’ll have to re-enter your Facebook password to confirm. If you choose ‘Text message/Push notification’ you will need to enter your mobile number.
6. Click ‘Save Changes’.
Tip: While you are still in your Security Settings. Go to ‘Active Sessions’ and click ‘Edit’ to see if someone from another location has accessed your account. It could be time to change your password.
