“I’m gonna be selling my iPod touch to a friend so I would like to know how I can delete all my personal info like emails, apps and everything else.”
Open iTunes and plug in the iPod touch.
Select the iPod touch under “Devices”.
Now you should be under the “Summary” tab, look further down and you will see a “Restore” button. Press that button to restore the iPod back to the factory settings.
You get one final warning so when you’re ready to delete all your data then press “Restore”.
