Unfortunately Playstation has followed the Xbox Live model and charging it’s users for online multiplayer capabilities with the PS4. You’ll need a Playstation Plus account if you want to play multiplayer online against other players. Certain free-to-play games may not require a Playstation Plus membership for multiplayer functionality (DC Universe Online, Blacklight Retribution and War Frame, etc). Generally speaking you’ll need a membership to play a good majority of multiplayer games online.

Hmmmm don’t see nothing wrong with the ps 4…if I wanna get online I’ll do it on my ps3 and I rarely do that…. don’t see what the complaints were about and how much you pay for a PlayStation plus membership isn’t much $50 a YEAR what ain’t like it’s a month
