“I have a Youtube channel I no longer want to keep. How do I delete my channel?”
How to Delete a Youtube Channel:
1. Sign into the Youtube channel that you want to delete.
2. Head over to the upper right hand corner and click on your logo. Then click on the ‘Youtube Settings’ icon.

3. From the Account information section of the page click on the ‘Advanced’ link beside your profile picture.

4. On the Advanced page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the ‘Delete Channel’ button.

5. You have two choices, you can delete your Youtube channel permanently or hide your videos from the public which basically makes your channel private. Choose the option thats right for you.
6. Choose ‘I want to permanently delete my content’ and read the notes carefully. It basically states that all channel videos, subscribers, comments, messages and history will be deleted forever. Click on the box to confirm. Click on ‘Delete my content’ to proceed.
7. A new window will appear. Type in the name of your Youtube channel to confirm. Click on ‘Delete my content’. Your channel should now be gone forever. It’s a sad day indeed.
