In this video I’ll go through the steps on how to delete saved data on the Nintendo Switch. From the Nintendo Switch home screen scroll down to the ‘System Settings’, that’s the icon that looks like a gear near the bottom of the screen.
On the System Settings screen, browse down to ‘Data Management’ and click ‘A’ to proceed. Now scroll down to ‘Delete Save Data’ and press ‘A’ again.
Now we are on the Delete Save Data screen for the Nintendo Switch. All the games you’ve played and saved while playing on the Switch will be located here. Go ahead and browse through the saved data to find the one you want to remove and delete. Don’t get all nostalgic on me now just find it and delete.
Find the user game data you want to delete or select ‘Delete All Save Data for This Software’ this option will get rid of all users saved games. Press A to proceed.
On the next screen you’ll see a warning ‘Deleted data cannot be recovered. Delete this data’. If you’re totally sure you want to delete this saved data than go ahead and scroll up to ‘Delete Save Data’ and hit the ‘A’ button and watch all your hard work get flushed down the drain because once it’s gone it’s gone forever.
