In this video I’ll be showing how to connect your Xbox One controller to your Windows 10 PC via Bluetooth.
You will need to have your Windows 10 updated to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. But if your Windows 10 is already up to date you shouldn’t have to worry about this.
To get the most out of your Xbox One controller, Microsoft recommends that you update your controller with the latest firmware. I have a video showing you how to update your Xbox One controller.
Connecting your Xbox One controller to Windows 10:
- From your Windows 10 PC go to your Bluetooth settings. You can get there by typing ‘Bluetooth’ into the Windows 10 search bar. Select ‘Bluetooth and other device settings’.
- Click on ‘Add Bluetooth or other device’.
- Click on ‘Bluetooth’.
- Now grab the controller. Press and hold (for at least 3 seconds) the Bluetooth button located on top of the Xbox One controller.
- The Xbox One Wireless controller should now appear as Bluetooth device. Click on it to add this device to Windows 10.
That’s all folks, now you can use your Xbox One controller to play games on your Windows 10 PC.
