“I’ve tried connecting my PSP to the Internet via wireless but get an error message that says not supported. What does that mean?”
There could be numbers of different reasons why you are unable to connect to the Internet with your PSP so let’s run down some basic things.
Follow my step by step instructions on setting up PSP internet.
Try updating your PSP with the latest firmware, this often solves many issues.
Is your wireless B/G router password protected? Then you will need the password or key to connect to that network. You will need to know whether your router WLAN Security Settings which could be one of the following:
- None
- WEP
- WPA-PSK (TKIP)
- WPA-PSK (AES)
Are you close enough to the wireless access point, when you scan for wireless access point how strong is your network signal? I find that you should have at least 70 percent to establish a decent connection.
Be sure that the WLAN is on the ON position.
