“How do I connect my PS4 controller to my Macbook Pro laptop? Is there a way to connect it wirelessly?”
The PS4 controller can be connected to the Mac via Bluetooth. Some games my not be compatible using the Dualshock 4 controller. You’ll have to test out the games yourself to see if it works. Although Bluetooth works great you can also connect it via USB. No set up is required when using USB cable.
Using PS4 Controller on the Mac:
1. Click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner of the screen.
2. Select ‘System Preferences’ from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on ‘Bluetooth’ from this window.
4. Make sure your Bluetooth is turned on.
5. Grab your PS4 controller. Press and hold the ‘Share’ and ‘PS Home’ button at the same time for a few seconds until the PS4 controller starts blinking.
6. A ‘Pairing Request’ will pop up on the screen. Click ‘Pair’ to continue.
7. The PS4 controller should now be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth to the Mac.
