“I recently updated my Mac from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. After the install I immediately noticed the scrolling changed on my Macbook trackpad, it is now reversed. How do I change the scrolling back to the way it was?”
1. Tap the Apple logo in the upper left corner and select ‘System Preference’ from the drop down menu.
2. Inside System Preference and under Hardware click on ‘Trackpad’. If you want to change scroll direction on your mouse select ‘Mouse’.
3. Uncheck ‘Scroll direction: natural’. This will change your scrolling back to the way it was before the update. Scroll down to go down and scroll up to go up. Just like the good old days.
