I upgraded my router to D-Link 655 which is a pre-n router. I have G on my laptop, but not only is the range a lot better..the speed has really increased to! A N router will still boost internet speed even if you only have g adaptor. Of course if you have a n adapter it will even go faster. I dont know what the other guy is talking about.
