“How much is the Windows Phone 7 going to cost?”

The Windows Phone 7 was recently announced at the MWC 2010 conference and lots of information was given by Microsoft but the price was not one of them. The phone is expected to come out by this holiday season so we should know more about pricing as that time approaches.

It would be around 400$ if they want to compete in the market

they better offer it for around 149.99 with a two year contract on att if they hope to have iphone fans switch over. The problem is iphone allows updates, does windows phone 7? Also, i can sync with itunes to my iphone, ipad, ipod, macbook, etc. This phone would cause me to have two different methods for syncing everything. with the iphone always being around 199 and i can just re-sync my old info to the new phone and “go”, the price will be my deciding factor.

you fucking guys! stop blaming microsoft for mistakes. dont you think the symbian demise is near ! only android, windows phone 7, iOS, and bada will remain!

HTC WinPhone in Starlink in Doha is about 1200 QR.
Blaming Microsoft for their mistakes is normal. Who else would you blame for Microsoft’s mistakes?
The only Windows “advantages” are ActiveX controls on some Web sites, readable by Internet Explorer only, and probably full compatibility with WinPC-s (and their blue screens). It doesn’t mean I like Symbian, it just means I see through Microsoft’s (and Apple’s, and other) cheap tricks.
“only android, windows phone 7, iOS, and bada…” is not “only”. It’s a whole bunch of OS-s.
